Join Our Team – Siding Specialist / Siding Department Manager

Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available

Fine Line Improvements, a family-owned exterior remodeling company serving the Greater Rochester area, is looking for an experienced Siding Specialist to help manage and oversee our growing siding department.

We are looking for someone who understands siding installation, is highly organized, can coordinate materials and crews, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

This position offers flexible part-time and full-time opportunities depending on experience and availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential siding installation projects from start to completion.
• Prepare, coordinate, and manage siding material orders.
• Schedule and coordinate material deliveries to job sites.
• Verify material quantities, colors, profiles, and accessories before installation.
• Work with siding crews to ensure jobs run efficiently and stay on schedule.
• Perform job-site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Identify and resolve installation issues and material shortages.
• Communicate project updates and material needs to the office.
• Ensure jobs are completed to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform final quality inspections and help coordinate punch-list completion.

Full-Time Position – Additional Responsibilities

In addition to managing siding projects, the full-time Siding Specialist will work alongside our installation crews, assisting with hands-on work, including:

• Installing exterior window and door trim.
• Installing corner boards, frieze boards, fascia, and other exterior trim.
• Assisting with PVC trim, aluminum trim, and siding finishing details.
• Helping crews complete detail work and resolve installation challenges.

This is a hands-on management position, not strictly an office or supervisory role.

Part-Time Position

The part-time position will focus primarily on managing siding projects, coordinating materials and deliveries, overseeing installation crews, performing job-site inspections, and ensuring projects are completed properly.

Qualifications

• Previous residential siding installation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of vinyl siding, board and batten, and exterior trim installation.
• Experience reading measurements and calculating material quantities.
• Ability to create accurate material orders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to oversee crews and maintain quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with PVC trim, aluminum trim, and composite siding is a plus.
• Previous project management or crew leadership experience preferred.
